Kruger Human has thirty years of experience in safari hunting, wildlife management and conservation. He has a vast knowledge of the Southern Africa Fauna & Flora and his “adventures” took him to Kenya, Zimbabwe, Namibia and Botswana. He also qualified as a Professional Hunter in Botswana.
He has hunted Africa’s wildlife, studied them and conserved them. It gave him the incomparable knowledge for animals in his current full-time profession as a Taxidermist. From 1999-2003 Kruger received training from one of the best Taxidermists in America. Bill Mason, owner of Mason’s Taxidermy in West Virginia, USA. Bill made sure that Kruger received invaluable training in the finer points of the art of taxidermy
Marakalalo was established as a one-man operation in 1999 The company is a fully state veterinarian certified and registered facility.

From raw trophy preparation and exports, tailor-made custom items to museum and educational displays.
All the employees of the company have been trained by Kruger and served their apprenticeship with him at Marakalo. In-house training updates and involvement in daily projects as well as working with all different species of the African and International wildlife is a guarantee that lifelike taxidermy pieces are created.
Taxidermy is truly a specialist form of art. Countless hours are spent on sculpting new forms. Death casts are made from specimens and turned in forms, all to get perfect anatomy character into taxidermy mounts.
At Marakalalo. we manufacture our own moulds and we are constantly changing and altering older forms and moulds to offer a wider variety of choices for poses to the hunter.
